The Vijitt Resort Phuket Thailand, an all villa-style resort hotel situated on absolute beachfront land on the idyllic Island of Phuket. The resort-style hotel provides accommodation for those wanting something different. The resort started to welcome guests at the end of September 2008. The 92 villas include 3 Two-Bedroom Pool Villas, 13 Prime Pool Villas, 72 Deluxe Villas and for the ultimate luxury 4 beachfront Vijitt Pool Villas. With the range of villas available, honeymooners, couples and families with children will certainly enjoy their visit.
The Vijitt Resort Phuket is located on Friendship Beach in Rawai on prime beachfront land with a sea frontage of 250 metres and totalling 18 acres. The resort enjoys stunning views across Chalong Bay to Cape Panwa, Lon and Coral Islands. The site, formally Vijitt Bungalows, retains much of its original charm by incorporating the mature palms and other trees into the overall design. Travelling time from the Airport is 45 minutes, Phuket town is 15 minutes and Patong Beach is 40 minutes.
Restaurants & Bars
Dining is a key part of the Vijitt experience, the responsibility for the cuisine at the resort is overseen by our experienced chef who with the Thai chefs develop a high standard of food quality and service, presented in a relaxed informal environment. There is a focus on organic foods with items coming from the resort's own herb and vegetable gardens and the various fruit trees planted throughout the resort.
The resort has a total of 2 restaurants and 2 bars comprising:
- The Savoury, located close to the beachfront and adjacent to the main pool, offers an expansive buffet breakfast, all-day dining and a combination of a la carte menu and buffet dinners. The restaurant also features a Delicatessen/Ice cream Parlor, Bakery and Wine Cellar.
- Baan Vijitt, the Sino-Portuguese style house, which was the original Vijitt family weekend home, provides a traditional dining experience with a contemporary twist offering traditional Thai food with a focus on regional specialties.
- The Beach Bar, offering a range of snacks and drinks throughout the day serving guests both by the pool and relaxing in the beachfront gardens.
- The Wine Cellar, an extensive selection to satisfy the most discerning palate and select wine tastings and intimate private dinners will round off the wine cellar experience.
- The Rotunda Cafe, offering a selection of snacks, drinks and ice creams throughout the day.
- In Villa Dining, the in-villa dining experience offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a romantic dinner or sumptuous breakfast in the privacy of their own villa with a choice of dining from simple light fare to sumptuous BBQ's, Thai or seafood extravaganzas.
Villas
The resort features 92 spacious stand alone villas strategically placed among the gently sloping forested land, they enjoy stunning sea views and at the same time privacy.
The decor is clean and uncluttered offering luxurious teak wood finishes and a strong sense of Southern Thai architecture and contemporary design throughout, from the wood tile roofs to the use of coconut and bamboo in the finishes.
There are four villa categories:
- Deluxe Villas, 72 stand alone villas (70sqm) providing a bedroom, separated dressing area, large bathroom with oversized bath, twin sinks and spacious outdoor rain shower. The villas also have a private terrace with sun beds. Baby cots allowed but no extra beds.
- Prime Pool Villas, 13 spacious two storey villas (178sqm), accessed to the upper level with an upstairs living room leading onto a 7 metre pool, spacious terrace and a bathroom with bath and outdoor rain shower. The downstairs is accessed by an exterior staircase inside the villa walls and the ground level comprises a separated bedroom (King Size Bed) and living area, walk-in closet and a bathroom with rain shower. The villas can accommodate 2 extra beds and the upstairs day bed can also be used as a further single bed.
- Two-Bedroom Pool Villas, 3 spacious single storey villas (182sqm) providing a master bedroom with en suite bathroom comprising; sunken Jacuzzi bath and separate rain shower. The bedroom leads onto a living room overlooking the private pool, across a small terrace is a second bedroom (with twin beds), separate bathroom with rain shower. Additionally the villa features a large terrace and a generous sized 10 metre pool.
- Vijitt Pool Villas, 4 luxurious single story villas (162sqm) located on the beachfront comprising a large bedroom, two bathrooms, two terraces, an 11 metre infinity edged pool with state of the art fibre optic lighting, integral Jacuzzi, a separate living room leading to expansive private gardens that run down to the beach.
