Other activities, such as surfing, elephant trekking, horseback riding, snorkeling etc are only a stones throw away. From our tour desk in the lobby area we provide any information required. - Seasons Restaurant International, Asian, & Thai Cuisine: We proudly present our exotic Thai flavours with both traditional and international style cooking. We hope you will enjoy our delightful dishes, all prepared with care and love. Special theme nights and elaborate BBQ buffets including Thai nights are offered and the resort provides a programme of live entertainment.
- Waves Pool Bar: We offer a variety of light lunch meals and snacks, delicious salads, homemade hamburgers, sandwiches and local cuisine which can be enjoyed by the poolside.
- Emerald Pool Bar: Enjoy tropical cocktails and cool drinks, whilst relaxing by the any of our large pool areas. Snacks and lunch menu.
Rooms & Accommodation
The Centara Kata Resort comprises 158 rooms and suites spread out in a cluster of 2 and 3 storey low-rise buildings. All units are very spacious, comfortable, functional and tastefully decorated in traditional Thai and contemporary style architecture to create a family friendly resort.
- Deluxe rooms are 30 sqm. and can accommodate up to 3 persons (3rd person in a roll-away-bed). All rooms have king or twin bed(s) and are equipped with a safe, refrigerator, water kettle or tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms have a furnished terrace (ground floor) or balcony. This room type is spread out over the complex. Custom rooms for disabled are available.
- Family Deluxe rooms are 30 sqm. and can accommodate up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. All rooms have 2 double beds and are equipped with a satellite TV, individual air conditioning, safe, refrigerator, water kettle or tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms have a furnished terrace (ground floor) or balcony, which overlooks the resort style pool area.
- Family Suite: All necessities are provided for you to enjoy your vacation to the fullest in this Family Suite. Our Family Suites are 60 sqm. and can accommodate up to 5 people (3rd and 4th person in a sofa bed, 5th in a roll-away-bed). Rates for Family Suites are based on the number of people inside the room. This room type is suitable for the family with children who needs the comfort of self-catering and prefers to enjoy the day at the resort. The design of this suite is a bedroom with king size bed and a living room area with dining table and chairs as well as sofa. Cooking range, microwave oven, a kettle and toaster are standard equipment in the Family Suites as well as cutlery and chinaware and cooking utensils. All rooms have a furnished terrace (ground floor) or balcony. This room type is spread out over the complex. Costumed rooms for disabled are available.
- Two Bedroom Family Suites are especially designed for the larger family and can accommodate up to seven people. The living area is 90 sqm. In addition to a comfortably furnished living room (convertible sofa bed), the suite consists of two bedrooms (one with king size bed, the other with twin bed) and a large living room with cooking-area, dining table and a sofa, which is used as a bed for two people at night if required. The use of extra bed is compulsory for 5th- 7th person in this suite. The rate is based on the number of people inside the room. Cooking range, microwave oven, kettle and toaster are standard equipment in the Two Bedroom Family Suite as well as cutlery and chinaware and cooking utensils. All Two Bedroom Family Suites have a furnished terrace since they are situated on the ground floor only.
