Hotel Nikko Hong Kong - Because the hotel business, in the ultimate analysis, is not just about fancy hardware but rather, a uniquely human enterprise, at Hotel Nikko Hongkong we place a premium on the personal touch, on 'service with heart'. It's an extraordinary service ethos that stems from Hotel Nikko's Japanese heritage, with its emphasis on sincerity, generosity and self-motivated hospitality.
Thus, reflecting our respect for the cultures we most frequently encounter, the majority of our personnel are proficient in English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Japanese. Regular training and workshops ensure our staff's language and service skills are continually honed to deliver a first-rate experience for all our guests, no matter which part of the world they are from.
Rooms & Accommodation
At the heart of the Hotel Nikko Hong Kong experience are our 463 elegantly appointed rooms and suites, many with views of Victoria Harbour that are simply unmatched elsewhere. Each is a private sanctuary that combines all the functionality and amenities a visitor-on-the-go could ever require, with the look and feel of a chic and modern home. Indeed, our rooms are custom-designed to meet the needs and preferences of all our guests, including the physically challenged.
Electronically controlled curtains, an LCD TV (in selected rooms), 24/7 in-room broadband internet access, a well-stocked mini bar, in-room tea/coffee-making facilities, 24-hour room service and an in-room safety deposit box large enough to store a laptop and are just some of the touches that make the Nikko guestroom a self-contained home-away-from-home.
The Hotel Nikko Hong Kong also has a well-defined no-smoking policy, laid down in line with the Hong Kong Government's newly amended Smoking (Public Health) Ordinance (Cap. 371). With due concern for the health and welfare of all the hotel's guests, visitors and staff, smoking is prohibited in all guestroom corridors, lift lobbies, restrooms, restaurants and bars, as well as the Japanese garden on the 4/F of the hotel. Smokers may, however, still light up in the privacy of their guestroom - except of course on dedicated No-Smoking Floors - and in the driveway at the main entrance of the hotel.
Dining & Restaurants
Caff Serena - Variety and value are the order of the day at Cafe Serena, one of Hotel Nikko Hongkong's most popular dining outlets. Combining the best of western and regional Asian dishes in a comprehensive a la carte menu, this refreshingly casual-style eatery - looking out on Victoria Harbour on the one side and the hotel's atrium lobby on the other - also serves a lavish buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a delightful selection of snacks from afternoon to late evening. Cafe Serena is likewise the site of some of Hotel Nikko Hongkong's most exciting food promotions.
Toh Lee - Toh Lee is renowned amongst Hong Kong's discreet set as one of the territory's finest Chinese restaurants, having been conferred a Best of the Best Culinary Award by the Hong Kong Tourism Board.
This celebrated establishment offers an elegant selection of Cantonese fare and dim sum that includes both traditional favourites and original creations. Seating a total of 180, the restaurant has five private rooms, of which four can be adjoined into a large function room for family or corporate gatherings.
Sagano - Taking its name and inspiration from a famous suburb of Kyoto, Japan's ancient heartland, Sagano offers authentic Japanese specialties from sushi and tempura to teppanyaki and kaiseki. It is also a favourite haunt of many Japanese residents in Hong Kong as well as Japanese guests at Hotel Nikko.
Particularly noteworthy are the eatery's three tatami rooms with traditional bamboo flooring, two of which can be opened up to create a larger space for up to 16 persons. Here, dining is no longer just about food, it's a wholly cultural experience.
Indeed, the restaurant's appeal lies not only in its superb culinary offerings, but equally in its exquisitely simple ambience reflecting the quiet dignity, beauty and serenity of the original Sagano.
Les Celebrites - Modelled on a classic French restaurant, Les Celebrites offers European-style gourmet cuisine in the manner of the latest Continental dining trends. Guests select their first course from a splendid buffet of hors d'oeuvres ; for entree, there is an a la carte menu boasting an extensive selection of gastronomic delights.
Sky Lounge - The Sky Lounge on the hotel's top floor welcomes guests for cocktails and 'cool inspiration' with a royal box view of the famous night-lights of Hong Kong. A clubroom elegance pervades this area and the ambience is relaxed and friendly, with upbeat modern music playing softly in the background.
Lobby Lounge - For exotic drinks and easy relaxation, look no further than Hotel Nikko Hongkong's Lobby Lounge. A convivial atmosphere reigns in this chic, elevated space, fashioned in a delicate cross-over of Art Deco and original styles.
Sweeping glass panels, cosy armchairs and plump sofas, all bathed in beautiful sunshine by day and soft purple lighting by night, make the Lobby Lounge a singularly wonderful place to unwind over a light meal, refreshment or dessert by one of our award-winning pastry chefs.
