Thus Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has organized Thailand Eco & Adventure travel Mart 2010 between 25th – 27thJune, 2010 at Nakhonnayok province which is the hub for those who admire the fascinating nature and thrilling adventure.

The objective of the event is to provide the buyer both internal and external to meet and discuss business potential with the seller from every province nationwide. In addition it is an opportunity to compile tourism products and services from various sources for the consumer to choose which is also stimulate the travelling between the regions.

Within the travel mart the customer will get a special offer on the related products and services on eco-tourism and other various adventures in almost 100 booths from varying 5 regions in Thailand. - Eco East 2nd Day Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Wat Sothon Wararam Worawihan . This monastery houses Phra Phutthasothon or, as commonly called by the local folk, “Luang Pho Sothon”. This is a very sacred Buddha image and is most revered by the people. Legend says that there were three bronze cast Buddha images floating down from Prachin Buri and they appeared at Sampathuan Country of Chachoengsao. Luang Pho Sothon, the medium bronze cast Buddha, floated down the Bang Pakong River to the site of the temple. Efforts to retrieve it were unsuccessful until a villager had a small shrine erected on the site and performed a ceremony welcoming the image to the community. Then boarding on the Bang Pakong charter cruise. Our Captain will take you down the lovely river of history the Bang Pakong river. Enjoy the beauty and scenery on the both sides, including the greatest and the most splendid ordination hall of Wat Sothon. There will be time to explore the Ecotourism Mart and to provide feedback to the project team about the FAM trips. Lunch at the hotel.
In the afternoon, transfer to Baan Din village. This community tries to create a new choice of way of life which is quite simple and close to nature. The people are setting their spirit to be the departure point of activities in the duty to serve and change the society with the purpose of self-sufficiency. This kind of behaviour should help healing life and get to its balance. The departure to The Bhumirak Dhamachart Project, The Royal Nature Conservation Center. Transfer back to Suvarnabhumi Airport for the departure flight.
