2 April 2010, The 17th anniversary of Laguna Phuket’s sea turtle release ceremony will take place at the Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket beachfront at the beginning of April 2010. The event is to fundraise for Phuket Marine Biological Centre and the Third Naval Area Command, Royal Thai Navy to buy satellite tracking devices for the ongoing conservation and research programme, as well as food for turtle nurseries. Participants will able to play game booths on the beach, compete in turtle sand sculpture competitions, and donate to releasing juvenile turtles. The Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel has opened under a management agreement with Maneeya Realty Company, Limited. The hotel is the second Renaissance property in Thailand, with a third property set to open in Phuket later this summer. The Marriott hotels in Dubai consisting of JW Marriott Dubai, Courtyard by Marriott Dubai Green Community, Marriott Executive Apartments Dubai Creek, Renaissance Dubai Hotel, Marriott Executive Apartments Dubai Green Community and Marriott Dubai Harbour Hotel & Suites have launched the first Marriott Culture Committee Dubai website.
It is a website about Marriott associates for Marriott associates. According to Elaine Watson, the Chairman of the Marriott Business Council and the General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott Dubai Green Community, “The website is the first of its kind in the world.
